Two fields the desk keeps for you.
The full inventory is on this page — the email and the lens preference. Anything outside that pair is not held at all. Nothing more gets sent, nothing more gets stored.
Email address

Reading lens preference

Nothing else
heldNo cookies, no third-party analytics, no fingerprinting, no read receipts, no tracking pixels in any recap. The row is keyed to the address you dropped at /signup; nothing else rides along.
Why we collect it · the recap wire promise
Three purposes. No surprises.
Every field earns its row. The free recap is the only required purpose — the Monday Betting Brief and the Booth inbox are opt-ins, and they ride only when the reader opts in.
Free Daily Wire delivery
The single required purpose. The address you drop at /signup is the address the nightly recap ships to — the same body the /archive row renders against, every dispatch morning at 8 PM CT.
Monday Betting Brief opt-in
If your reading preferences at /account flag it on, the desk emails you the prior week’s line-move data every Monday. Opt out at /account and the address never gets the brief. Illinois disclosure block ships character-for-character on every send.
Booth inbox opt-in
If you’re a paid Booth subscriber, the gated MP4 video recap lands in your inbox the morning the renderer ships. Cancel at /account and the Booth inbox stops the same day; the free Wire recap is unaffected either way.
Retention · until you unsubscribe
Held until you let go.
The retention promise in plain English — not per-row timestamps, not a per-row purge schedule. The whole row goes when the reader asks for it to go.

Your reader row lives alongside your address. One click in any recap footer — or the cancel button on /account — stops the next dispatch and deletes the row the same day. No cooldown, no retention grace window, no "we kept it for re-engagement".
Never re-sold
Your address is not sold. It is not shared with sportsbooks, not shared with sponsors, not shared with third-party platforms. The single place it goes besides the desk’s render queue is the email service that sends the recap — nothing else.
No third-party tracking
Recap emails carry no open-pixel, no click-pixel, no tracking image. The desk keeps no read receipts on the archive page either — a row you don’t read leaves the same trail as one you do. What the desk holds is what the desk holds; no outside party reads along.
Deletion · one tap
How to ask us to delete your row.
Two paths. Both stop the next dispatch and delete the row the same day. The unsubscribe promise is the same regardless of which you pick.
Open the Manage preferences & unsubscribe link in any recap email footer. One click stops the next dispatch; your email address and lens preference are deleted from the Subscriber row the same day. The path is the same path in the welcome email you received at signup — the link is never further away than your most recent recap. You can also sign in at /account to confirm what the desk holds before you delete.
Prefer email? Mail brickbatdesk@polsia.app and the desk will purge the row by hand and confirm the deletion in a reply. Either path — one click in a recap footer or a single email to the desk — takes effect the same day, and the free Wire recap stops at the next dispatch.
